Hawks Notch Fourth Straight Win
The Atlanta Hawks defeated the visiting New Orleans Pelicans, 123-107, at State Farm Arena on Tuesday evening.

The Pelicans got out to a good start at home with a, 29-25, lead after one quarter. The pace picked up in the second, where the Hawks outscored the visitors, 36-32, to tie the game at 61, heading into the break. The Hawks came out on fire in the third and knocked down an NBA-record 11 three-pointers without a miss, as they totaled 46 points in the quarter, pushing their lead to 17, heading into the final frame. Things cooled off in the fourth, but the Pelicans could not improve their position, as the Hawks held on for their fourth straight win.

Trae Young led the Hawks with 30 points and 12 assists, in 31 minutes. Bogdan Bogdanovic followed up with 21 points, four rebounds and four assists, while Clint Capela totaled 12 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks. The Hawks shot 50 percent from the field, including 20-of-31 from long range.

Meanwhile, Zion Williamson led the Pelicans with 34 points on 12-of-18 shooting, five rebounds, two assists and a steal, in 35 minutes. Lonzo Ball totaled 12 points, 11 assists, nine rebounds, three steals and two blocks, while Eric Bledsoe tallied 14 points, four assists and two rebounds. The Pelicans shot 40 percent from the field, including 12-of-38 from long range.

The Pelicans (22-28) will look to bounce back as they take on the Nets in Brooklyn on Wednesday. The Hawks (27-24) play host to the Grizzlies on Wednesday.
