Sixers Secure Win Over Celtics
The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Boston Celtics, 106-96, at TD Garden on Tuesday evening.

The 76ers (35-16) dominated the Celtics (25-26) from start to finish and didn't have problems securing a huge win on the road, once again showing they are one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference. The 76ers jumped out to a 25-24 lead in the first quarter but already looked in control of the game, something that was reflected even further by the fact that they won the second quarter by a 34-22 score. The 76ers didn't step the foot off the gas in the third quarter and bolstered that lead even further, winning the third quarter by a 26-24 score. Boston showed signs of a turnaround in the fourth quarter and won the final 12 minutes by a 26-21 score. However, that wasn't enough to mount a comeback and Philadelphia ended winning the game by a comfortable margin.

Joel Embiid delivered another MVP-caliber performance in this game and finished with 35 points, six rebounds and a block, while Danny Green contributed with 17 points, two rebounds and two steals while shooting 5-for-6 from three-point range. Tobias Harris had 10 points, but he also added eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block. Ben Simmons chipped in with 12 points, six assists, four rebounds and three steals. Furkan Korkmaz chipped in with 10 points off the bench.

Jayson Tatum carried the Celtics offensively with 20 points, but he also added four rebounds and four assists. Jaylen Brown contributed 17 points and three rebounds, while Kemba Walker and Marcus Smart each contributed 14 points -- Walker also added six assists while Smart dished out three dimes. No other Boston player even sniffed the 10-point mark.
