Suns Defeat Jazz in OT, 117-113
The Phoenix Suns defeated the visiting Utah Jazz in overtime, 117-113, at Phoenix Suns Arena on Wednesday.

In a battle of the two best records in the NBA, it took an overtime session to determine a winner. Phoenix actually scored the first five points of the extra session and Utah never took a shot to tie the game after that start. There were six ties and 11 lead changes in total, with neither team leading by more than six points for the final 20 minutes of action. The Suns shot 11-of-34 from three-point range while the Jazz hit just 11-of-44. In addition, Phoenix out-assisted Utah, 20-14, while out-rebounding them, 61-45.

The Jazz (38-13) were led by Donovan Mitchell, tallying 41 points, eight rebounds and three assists on 16-of-35 from the field. Bojan Bogdanovic scored 20 points in an otherwise empty stat line. Rudy Gobert made all seven of his shots to tally 16 points, 18 rebounds, two assists and three steals. Mike Conley and Jordan Clarkson had 11 points apiece.

The Suns (36-14) were led by Devin Booker and his 35 points, four rebounds and three assists. Chris Paul collected 29 points, four rebounds and nine assists. Deandre Ayton amassed 18 points, 12 rebounds, two steals and three blocks. Jae Crowder had six points, 12 rebounds and two assists. Cameron Johnson led the bench with 11 points and eight rebounds.

Both of these teams have to play the second half of a back-to-back set on Thursday, with Phoenix facing the Los Angeles Clippers and Utah playing the Portland Trail Blazers.
