Nets Best Hawks, 122-112
The Brooklyn Nets defeated the Atlanta Hawks, 122-112, at Barclays Center on Saturday evening.

The first quarter opened up in a highly competitive fashion that belied the drastic swings to come. The Hawks (6-24) and Nets (16-13) matched each other bucket for bucket in the first quarter during which each scored 34 points. Atlanta then gained 13 points' worth of separation heading into halftime, and the two squads played to a 25-25 deadlock in the third. However that's when the light went on for Brooklyn, which dominated on both ends of the floor over the final 12 minutes to the tune of a 37-14 advantage.

Trae Young led the Hawks with 47 points, adding eight rebounds, six assists and one steal. Alex Len generated a 23-point, 14-rebound double-double. De'Andre Hunter furnished 14 points, five boards, two assists and one steal. DeAndre' Bembry and Kyle Huerter had matching nine-point tallies while pulling down four and six rebounds, respectively.

Spencer Dinwiddie paced the Nets with 39 points, complementing them with six rebounds, six assists and one steal. Garrett Temple delivered 25 points, six boards, three assists, one steal and one block. Joe Harris poured in 18 points and supplemented them with five rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block. Taurean Prince and DeAndre Jordan contributed 12 points apiece while hauling in 10 and 20 rebounds, respectively.

The Hawks next pay a visit to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night, while the Nets remain home and take on the crosstown-rival New York Knicks on Thursday night.
