Bulls Earn Second Straight Win
The Chicago Bulls defeated the host Detroit Pistons, 119-107, at Little Caesars Arena on Saturday evening.

The Bulls jumped out to a quick 7-0 lead, but the Pistons picked up the pace and outscored the visitors 28-18 through the rest of the quarter. The Pistons maintained the upper hand through most of the second, while the Bulls took a one-point lead with 1:31 left in the half, before the Pistons closed the quarter on a 9-2 run. The Bulls came out on fire in the third and outscored the hosts 40-30 in the quarter to take a held a four-point lead into the final frame. The Bulls led by three with six minutes left but closed the contest on a 20-11 run to earn their second consecutive win, while this marks the fourth straight loss for the Pistons.

Zach LaVine led the Bulls with 33 points, five rebounds, five assists and a steal, in 37 minutes. Coby white added 19 points and five rebounds, off the bench, while Lauri Markkanen chipped in 15 points, seven rebounds, two blocks, two assists and a steal. The Bulls shot 52 percent from the field, including 18-of-35 from long range.

Meanwhile, Markieff Morris led the Pistons with 23 points on 8-of-19 shooting, as he got the start in place of the injured, Blake Griffin (knee). Andre Drummond added 19 points, 14 rebounds, five steals, three assists and two blocks, while Luke Kennard added 16 points, four rebounds and three assists. The Pistons shot 46 recent from the field, including 16-of-35 from long range.

The Pistons (11-19) will look to bounce back as they play host to the 76ers on Monday. The Bulls (12-19) take on the Magic in Orlando on Monday.
