Rockets Defeat Suns, 139-125
The Houston Rockets defeated the host Phoenix Suns, 139-125, at Talking Stick Resort Arena on Saturday.

This was a deliberate victory for the Rockets, winning all four individual quarters and scoring at least 30 points in each. That allowed Houston to lead by at least seven points for the entirety of the fourth quarter. The Rockets ended up shooting 59 percent from the field and 46 percent from three-point range while committing just 10 turnovers. The Suns ended up shooting 52 percent from the field and 29 percent from three-point range. The six blocks recorded by Houston was big too, with Phoenix swatting away just one shot.

The Rockets (20-9) were led by James Harden, who collected 47 points, seven rebounds and seven assists on 15-of-27 from the field. Russell Westbrook tallied 30 points, four rebounds, 10 assists and two steals. Clint Capela totaled 14 points, 16 rebounds and three assists while no other player had more than 11 points, two rebounds or two assists.

The Suns (11-18) were led by Kelly Oubre Jr and his 26 points, five rebounds and four assists on 10-of-16 shooting. Devin Booker accumulated 19 points, six rebounds and nine assists. Elie Okobo amassed 17 points, four rebounds and three assists while Ty Jerome led the bench with 15 points, four rebounds and three assists.

Both teams return to action on Monday, with Phoenix playing host to the Denver Nuggets and Houston remaining on the road to face the Sacramento Kings.
