76ers Blast Wizards, 125-108
The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Washington Wizards, 125-108, at Wells Fargo Center on Saturday night.

The 76ers (21-10) came into the contest looking to avoid a rare third straight home defeat, and they got off to a strong start against a team they enjoyed a clear talent advantage over in the Wizards (8-20). Philadelphia built a 65-53 halftime lead, and despite Washington successfully shaving four points from its deficit in the third, the home squad put a stamp on the win with a 37-point fourth-point quarter. As their point total implies, the Sixers were efficient from the floor, shooting 52.1 percent, including 42.4 percent from three-point range.

Bradley Beal paced the Wizards with 36 points and added eight rebounds, six assists and two steals. Isaiah Thomas followed with 20 points, while Troy Brown, Jr. compiled 19 points and five boards. Anzejs Pasecniks poured in 11 points, while Davis Bertans had nine points and nine rebounds.

Joel Embiid and Josh Richardson co-led the 76ers with 21 points, with Embiid adding 13 rebounds, three assists and two blocks. Tobias Harris delivered 16 points, six boards, four assists and two steals. Ben Simmons managed 14 points, 11 assists, eight rebounds and four steals. Al Horford totaled 13 points, nine boards, three assists and one block, while Trey Burke registered 12 points to pace the bench.

The Wizards remain on the road and face off with the New York Knicks on Monday night, while the 76ers pay a visit to the Detroit Pistons on Monday night as well.
