Nuggets Defeat Jazz, 106-100
The Denver Nuggets defeated the visiting Utah Jazz, 106-100, at Pepsi Center on Thursday.

While Utah held the lead for the majority of the first three quarters, Denver dominated after that. In fact, they scored the final 15 points of the third quarter to take a six-point lead and then started the fourth quarter on a 12-1 run to take a game-high 17-point lead. That 27-1 run was too much for the Jazz to overcome despite getting it to a three-point margin in the final two minutes but failing to tie or recapture the lead. Denver ended up winning the turnover differential, 16-9, while winning the rebounding battle, 43-35.

The Jazz (32-16) were led by Jordan Clarkson, who provided 37 points, two rebounds and two assists off the bench. Donovan Mitchell had a night to forget, scoring just four points on 1-of-12 shooting. Rudy Gobert amassed 21 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks on 9-of-10 from the field. Joe Ingles totaled eight points, four rebounds and eight assists.

The Nuggets (33-15) were led by Nikola Jokic, who collected 28 points, four rebounds, 10 assists and three steals. Will Barton generated 18 points and five boards. Torrey Craig tallied 13 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks while Jerami Grant accrued 15 points and five rebounds. Michael Porter Jr led the bench with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Denver has to play again on Friday, traveling to face a dominant Milwaukee Bucks team. As for Utah, they're off until Saturday when they travel to play the Portland Trail Blazers.
