Thunder Blasts Suns, 126-108
The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Phoenix Suns, 126-108, at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Friday night.

The Thunder (14-14) came in looking to finally even their record at .500 again after a rough start to the season, but they encountered a game Suns (11-17) squad early. OKC held only a 57-50 halftime lead before both teams combined for an 85-point tally in the third quarter. The hosts still managed to outscore Phoenix by a 44-41 margin during that period, and the 10-point lead they carried into the fourth quarter increased to 18 by game's end courtesy of a 25-17 edge for the Thunder in the final 12 minutes.

Ricky Rubio led the Suns with 24 points, eight assists, two rebounds and one steal. Devin Booker furnished 18 points, four boards, three assists and one steal. Dario Saric supplied 16 points, six rebounds, four assists and one steal. Kelly Oubre, Jr. delivered 13 points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal. Elie Okobo led the bench with 11 points.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander paced the Thunder with a career-high 32 points, complementing them with four boards, three assists and one steal. Dennis Schroder followed with 24 points, nine boards and six assists. Danilo Gallinari registered 22 points, six rebounds, one assist and one block. Chris Paul managed 15 points, seven assists, two rebounds and one steal, while Steven Adams and Nerlens Noel went for 10 points apiece.

The Suns head back home and take on the Houston Rockets on Saturday night, while the Thunder remain home and face the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday night.
