Cavs Rally To Hold Off Grizzlies
The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the visiting Memphis Grizzlies, 114-107, at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Friday evening.

The contest got out to a competitive start with the Grizzlies holding a two-point lead after one quarter. The Cavs picked up the pace in the second, as they pulled ahead early and led for most of the quarter, before taking a 55-51 lead into halftime. The Cavs stayed on top to begin the third quarter, but the Grizzlies closed the quarter on a 17-11 run, to take a six-point lead into the final frame. The Grizzlies pushed their lead to 12, as they led 93-81, with 10:30 to go in the contest. However, the Cavs mounted a fierce rally to outscore the visitors 33-14 the rest of the way, including 11-4 through the final three minutes. This marks the second straight win for the Cavs and the second straight loss for the Grizzlies.

Jordan Clarkson led the Cavs with 33 points on 12-of-17 shooting, in 30 minutes off the bench. Kevin Love followed up with 21 points and 13 rebounds, while Tristan Thompson added 10 points, 15 rebounds, three assists and a block. The Cavs shot 44 percent from the field, including 17-of-37 from deep.

Meanwhile, Jaren Jackson Jr. led the Grizzlies with 24 points on 9-of-19 shooting, in 34 minutes. Dillon Brooks added 16 points, seven rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block, while Jonas Valanciunas tallied 14 points, 14 rebounds, four blocks and two assists. The Grizzlies shot 43 percent from the field, including 14-of-41 from long range.

The Grizzlies (10-19) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Kings on Saturday. The Cavs (8-21) play host to the Hawks on Monday.
