Heat Hold On For Third Straight Win
The Miami Heat defeated the visiting Utah Jazz, 107-104, at American Airlines Arena on Monday evening.

The Jazz got out to a good start on the road and led mid way through the first, but the Heat took control with a 32-28 lead heading into the second. The score stayed tight through the third, while the Heat held a slight edge through most of the quarter and took a one-point lead into halftime. The Heat stayed strong to start the third, but the Jazz turned it around to take a five-point lead into the fourth. The Heat came out strong in the fourth and overtook the lead, four minutes into the quarter. They pushed their lead to 10, halfway through the quarter and held an eight-point lead with 30 seconds left. The Jazz made one last push to bring it to a three-point game, but the Heat held on for their third straight win.

Jimmy Butler led the Heat with 20 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals, in 34 minutes. Bam Adebayo added 18 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, three steals and three blocks. Tyler Herro chipped in 17 points, off the bench, while Goran Dragic tallied 15 points and six rebounds. The Heat shot 41 percent from the field, including 9-of-25 from deep.

Meanwhile, Joe Ingles led the Jazz with 27 points on 9-of-16 shooting, in 38 minutes. Rudy Gobert added 18 points, 20 rebounds and five blocks, in 36 minutes. Bojan Bogdanovic chipped in 19 points, four rebounds and three assists. The Jazz shot 43 percent from the field, including 12-of-36 from long range.

The Jazz (18-12) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Trail Blazers on Thursday. The Heat (22-8) play host to the Pacers on Friday.
