Cavs Earn Third Straight Win
The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the visiting Atlanta Hawks, 121-118, at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Monday evening.

The Cavaliers got out to a great start at home, with a 42-32 lead after one quarter. The Hawks cut it to a two-point game mid way through the second, but the Cavs pushed ahead to take a seven-point lead into halftime. The Hawks started the third on a 12-3 run, to take a two-point lead. They held a slight edge for most of the quarter but Cavs tied the score at 94, heading into the fourth. The Cavs started the fourth on a 10-2 run and held a 14-point lead with five minutes to go. The Hawks made a push and brought it to a three-point game, with 49 seconds left in the contest, but neither team scored the rest of the way, as the Cavs held on for their third straight win. This marks the eighth straight loss for the Hawks.

Collin Sexton led the Cavs with 25 points, six rebounds, three assists and a steal, in 36 minutes. Darius Garland added 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting, while Kevin Love tallied 20 points, eight rebounds, five assists, a steal and a block. The Cavs shot 52 percent from the field, including 11-of-29 from long range.

Meanwhile, Trae Young led the Hawks with 30 points, 11 assists, six rebounds and four steals, in 36 minutes. John Collins was great in his first game back from a 25-game suspension, as he finished with 27 points, 10 rebounds, two steals and two blocks. De'Andre Hunter added 23 points on 10-of-19 shooting, while Kevin Huerter chipped in 19 points.

The Hawks (6-25) will look to bounce back on Friday, as they play host to the Bucks. The Cavaliers (9-21) take on the Celtics in Boston on Friday.
