Sixers Hand Pistons Fifth Straight Loss
The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the host Detroit Pistons, 125-109, at Little Caesars Arena on Monday evening.

The Sixers got out to a good start on the road and took a 30-23 lead after one quarter. The Pistons rallied to take a brief lead in the second, but the 76ers outscored the hosts 22-13 through the rest of the quarter, to take an eight-point lead into halftime. The Pistons came out strong and tied it up early in the third, but the Sixers reclaimed control, with a 94-86 lead, heading into the fourth. The Sixers held the momentum through the fourth and took a 22-point lead with just over two minutes to go. This marks their second straight win, while this marks the fifth straight loss for Detroit.

Tobias Harris led the 76ers with 35 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals, in 34 minutes. Ben Simmons totalled 16 points, 17 assists and 13 rebounds, while Joel Embiid finished with 20 points, eight rebounds, three assists, three blocks and a steal. The 76ers shot 55 percent from the field, including 12-of-30 from long range.

Meanwhile, Andre Drummond led the Pistons with 27 points nine rebounds, three assists and a steal, in 32 minutes. Derrick Rose added 16 points, seven assists, three rebounds, two steals and a block, while Svi Mykhailiuk chipped in 13 points, four assists and two rebounds. The Pistons shot 51 percent from the field, including 10-of-30 from long range.

The Pistons (11-20) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Wizards on Thursday. The 76ers 22-10) play host to the Bucks on Wednesday.
