Trail Blazers Topple Warriors, 122-112
The Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Golden State Warriors, 122-112, at Moda Center on Wednesday night.

The Trail Blazers (12-16) looked ready to take care of business against an inferior opponent early, as they played a strong offensive opening period and headed into the second quarter with a 40-29 advantage. However, a game Warriors (5-24) battled back to narrow their deficit to one going into intermission. Ultimately, Portland regrouped at halftime and outscored Golden State by a 55-46 margin in the second half to seal a double-digit home win.

D'Angelo Russell paced the Warriors with 26 points, adding seven assists, one rebound, two blocks and one steal. Glenn Robinson III turned in 17 points and four rebounds. Alec Burks supplied 16 points, six rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block. Willie Cauley-Stein registered 12 points, seven rebounds, one assist and one steal. Eric Paschall managed 11 points and four boards, while Marquese Chriss generated a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double that also included one assist and one block.

Damian Lillard led the Trail Blazers with a 31-point, 13-assist double-double that also included five rebounds, one steal and one block. C.J. McCollum furnished 30 points, five boards, three assists and one steal. Carmelo Anthony supplied 17 points, eight rebounds, two blocks and one steal. Hassan Whiteside contributed a 16-point, 23-rebound double-double that also included two blocks. Skal Labissiere turned in 10 points and seven rebounds off the bench.

The Warriors head back home to take on the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night, while the Trail Blazers remain home and tangle with the Orlando Magic on Friday night as well.
