Bulls Win OT Thriller Over Wizards
The Chicago Bulls defeated the Washington Wizards in overtime, 110-109, at Capital One Arena on Wednesday evening.

The Wizards (8-18) were coming off a win that snapped a four-game losing streak the last time out, but they found themselves in the losing end once again as the Bulls (11-19) made the game-winning shot with 9.1 seconds left in the overtime. The game seemed to go on the Wizards’ way all night long, as Washington won each of the first three quarters, but the Bulls stormed with a huge comeback in the final 12 minutes that forced the OT period. The Wizards were also leading in the overtime, but Zach LaVine found Wendell Carter Jr. and he made the winning bucket for Chicago. With the win, the Bulls moved to 5-9 on the road while the Wizards fell to 4-7 at home.

Lauri Markkanen was the best player for the Bulls, as he ended with 31 points (making 12 of his 19 field goals) and adding nine rebounds. Zach LaVine endured a rough night from the field since he went 6-for-23, but he also made all of his 11 free throws to finish with 24 points. Kris Dunn had 15 points, five assists, and five boards. Tomas Satoransky had 17 points. Wendell Carter Jr. had nine points and nine boards to go along with the game-winning shot.

Davis Bertans moved to the starting lineup and he delivered, as he finished with a team-high 26 points to go along with seven rebounds. Bradley Beal had 22 points, seven rebounds and seven boards. Isaiah Thomas had 16 points, and Ian Mahinmi had eight points with six rebounds in only 24 minutes. Troy Brown Jr. had 10 points off the bench.
