Nuggets Defeat Magic, 113-104
The Denver Nuggets defeated the visiting Orlando Magic, 113-104, at Pepsi Center on Wednesday.

While Orlando led by 19 points early in the second half, Denver was able to prevail. In fact, they ended up outscoring Orlando in the third quarter, 39-16, holding the lead for the entirety of the fourth quarter. Prior to that, there were six ties and eight lead changes in total. Denver dominated the boards, outrebounding Orlando, 52-35. In addition, the Nuggets shot 48 percent from the field and 41 percent from three-point range while holding the Magic to 43 percent from the field and 38 percent from long range.

The Magic (12-16) were led by Nikola Vucevic, who collected 20 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Evan Fournier amassed 13 points and three assists. Aaron Gordon went just 4-of-14 from the field to finish with nine points, seven rebounds and three assists. D.J. Augustin led the bench with 18 points, three rebounds and seven assists.

The Nuggets (18-8) were led by Jamal Murray, who collected 33 points and five rebounds. Nikola Jokic generated 18 points, nine rebounds and 12 assists. Paul Millsap accumulated 15 points, 12 rebounds and two assists. Will Barton totaled nine points, nine rebounds, three assists and two steals. Mason Plumlee led the bench with nine points, six rebounds and two assists.

Both teams return to action on Friday, with Denver remaining home to face the Minnesota Timberwolves while Orlando stays on the road to play the Portland Trail Blazers.
