Clippers Topple Timberwolves,118-106
The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves, 118-106, at Staples Center on Saturday afternoon.

The Clippers (34-15) came out of the gates highly efficient on offense, as they compiled 40 points in the first quarter alone. Los Angeles held an 18-point advantage at the half over the Timberwolves (15-33), and by adding five points to their advantage in the third, they essentially sealed the victory.

Karl-Anthony Towns paced the Timberwolves with 32 points, complementing them with 12 rebounds, three assists and one block. Josh Okogie and Andrew Wiggins generated matching 13-point tallies while pulling down six and five rebounds, respectively. Robert Covington provided 12 points, five boards, three steals and two blocks. Shabazz Napier posted an 11-point, 10-assist double-double that also included four rebounds and two steals.

Kawhi Leonard led the Clippers with 31 points, complementing them with six rebounds and four assists. Paul George delivered 21 points, seven rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block. Lou Williams poured in 17 points and supplemented them with six assists, four rebounds and one steal. Montrezl Harrell managed 16 points, six rebounds, one steal and one block. Patrick Beverley checked in with 12 points, five boards, four assists, one steal and one block.

The Timberwolves will remain on the road and next visit the Sacramento Kings on Monday night, while the Clippers remain home and take on the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night as well.
