Knicks Surprise Pacers, 92-85
The New York Knicks defeated the Indiana Pacers, 92-85, at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Saturday night.

The Knicks (14-36) came into the contest notably short-handed at point guard and facing one of the best home-floor teams in the NBA in the Pacers (31-18). However, New York established the tone with a dominant first quarter that they emerged from with a 13-point lead, and they still owned an 11-point edge at halftime. Indiana finally seemed to come to life in the third, wiping out all but one point from their deficit during the third quarter. However, after the hosts battled back to knot the score at 80 with 6:11 remaining, the Knicks finished on a 12-5 run to secure the win.

Marcus Morris led the Knicks with 28 points, complementing them with six rebounds and one steal. Julius Randle generated a 16-point, 18-rebound double-double that also included three assists and two steals. Taj Gibson turned in 10 points, seven rebounds and one assist. Damyean Dotson led the bench with eight points, while Dennis Smith, Jr. started at point guard and contributed seven points, four rebounds and two assists.
