Trail Blazers Defeat Jazz, 124-107
The Portland Trail Blazers defeated the visiting Utah Jazz, 124-107, at Moda Center on Saturday.

A 30-19 second quarter was the difference for Portland in this game, holding the lead for the entirety of the second half. In fact, they led by at least 11 points for the whole of the fourth quarter. The Trail Blazers shot 51 percent from the field and 52 percent from three-point range while holding the Jazz to 43 percent from the field and 44 percent from long range. In addition, Portland ended up out-rebounding Utah, 51-37. The Trail Blazers also doubled up the Jazz in free-throw attempts, 18-9.

The Jazz (32-17) have now lost four-straight games, as Donovan Mitchell led the team with 25 points, two rebounds and four assists. Mike Conley accrued 22 points, four rebounds and four assists. Bojan Bogdanovic generated 22 points and two boards. Rudy Gobert amassed six points, 11 rebounds, two assists and three blocks.

The Trail Blazers (23-27) got another gem from Damian Lillard, who collected 51 points and 12 assists on 17-of-29 from the field. Hassan Whiteside totaled 17 points, 21 rebounds and three blocks. Carmelo Anthony had 15 points and five rebounds while C.J. McCollum accumulated 14 points, three rebounds and two assists.

Utah will look to end their four-game slide on Wednesday when they play host to the Denver Nuggets. Portland returns to action on Tuesday, traveling to face the same Nuggets team.
