Heat Defeats Magic, 102-89
The Miami Heat defeated the Orlando Magic, 102-89, at Amway Center on Saturday night.

The Heat (33-15) and Magic (21-28) played a closely contested first half for the most part, but Miami owned a 57-49 lead by halftime. The visitors managed to add another point to their advantage during the third period, which would prove to be more than enough for the comfortable road victory. Neither team shot particularly well overall, but the Heat managed to drain an impressive 45.5 percent of their three-point attempts.

Jimmy Butler led the Heat with 24 points, complementing them with three rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block. Tyler Herro followed with 23 points and three boards. Meyers Leonard produced an 18-point, 14-rebound double-double that also included one assist. Goran Dragic provided 11 points and six boards. Bam Adebayo mustered just four points but also posted 14 rebounds, five assists, four blocks and three steals.

Aaron Gordon paced the Magic with 24 points and added five boards, one assist and two steals. Nikola Vucevic delivered 21 points, nine rebounds, four assists and two blocks. Evan Fournier totaled 12 points, four assists, one rebound and two steals. Markelle Fultz supplied 11 points, six assists, four rebounds and one steal. Michael Carter-Williams led the bench with 10 points.

The Heat return home to face the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night, while the Magic hit the road and tangle with the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night as well.
