Spurs Defeat Hornets, 114-90
The San Antonio Spurs defeated the visiting Charlotte Hornets, 114-90, at AT&T Center on Saturday.

While Charlotte took a 13-point lead into the half, San Antonio rode a monster second half to a blowout victory. In fact, they rode a 29-11 third quarter to recapture the lead and capped off their comeback victory with a 35-16 fourth quarter. The Spurs ended up shooting 52 percent from the field while holding the Hornets to 42 percent shooting. In addition, San Antonio out-rebounded Charlotte, 45-36, while winning the turnover battle, 16-10. Much of that can be attributed to the Spurs recording 12 steals and the Hornets having just five.

The Hornets (16-33) were led by Miles Bridges, who tallied 25 points, six rebounds, two assists and two blocks. Cody Zeller accumulated 14 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. Terry Rozier generated 10 points, five rebounds and three assists while DeVonte' Graham amassed eight points, nine assists and two steals.

The Spurs (22-26) were led by DeMar DeRozan and his 24 points, three rebounds and six assists. Dejounte Murray totaled nine points, 10 rebounds, two assists and four steals. LaMarcus Aldridge had eight points, seven rebounds and two assists while Jakob Poeltl led the bench with 17 points, seven rebounds and two steals.

Both teams return to action on Monday, with Charlotte returning home to face the Orlando Magic and San Antonio traveling to face the volatile Sacramento Kings.
